On December 5, Hyundai Engineering & Construction announced that it had signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Doctor Now on November 21 for the provision of non-face-to-face medical services, and has integrated Doctor Now’s remote medical consultation function into its exclusive integrated residential platform app, "my HILLS," for residents.
Through this agreement, Hyundai Engineering & Construction aims to enhance its healthcare services based on multi-family housing and to establish a new residential environment where residents can access medical services quickly and conveniently in their daily lives.
The non-face-to-face medical consultation service is available to residents of Hillstate apartments, focusing on frequently occurring conditions such as colds, skin diseases, pediatric illnesses, and chronic diseases. The service covers various medical departments, including family medicine, internal medicine, pediatrics, and ophthalmology. Notably, it is available at night and on weekends, enabling immediate consultations whenever needed.
A representative from Hyundai Engineering & Construction stated, "Apartments are evolving beyond simple living spaces to become key infrastructure for health and well-being. This collaboration marks a meaningful starting point for building an ecosystem where residents can routinely manage their health at home."
Doctor Now also commented, "The integration of residential platforms and medical services aligns with a user-centered digital healthcare environment. We will continue to enhance the user experience so that Hillstate residents can access health services more quickly and efficiently."
Looking ahead, Hyundai Engineering & Construction plans to gradually advance its healthcare features by introducing lifestyle pattern analysis based on health data, AI health coaching, and expanding non-face-to-face medical consultations, with the goal of developing into an integrated residential medical service platform.
