Pyeongtaek Port Authority Obtains Anti-Bribery Management System Certification

Gyeonggi Pyeongtaek Port Authority has obtained certification for the Anti-Bribery Management System (ISO 37001) to establish a fair and transparent organizational culture.

On December 5, the authority announced that it held a certification ceremony for the international standard ISO 37001 for the Anti-Bribery Management System at the Pyeongtaek Port Marine Center, and that its anti-bribery management system has been officially recognized at an international level.

ISO 37001 is an international anti-bribery management system standard established by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), and it includes management criteria designed to systematically prevent, detect, and respond to the possibility of bribery within an organization.

Kim Geumgyu, Acting President of Gyeonggi Pyeongtaek Port Authority, stated, “This ISO 37001 certification serves as an important foundation for our authority to become a more trusted organization. Even as the risk of bribery increases due to the promotion of various new projects, all employees will work together to continuously improve our systems and culture in order to fundamentally block bribery and establish a transparent work environment.”
