On December 5, Daejeon City and the Daejeon Community Chest of Korea (Chairman Jaewook Yoo) received donated goods for vulnerable groups from the 16th Class Alumni Association of the Future Political Economy Academy (President Deokgeon Kim).

The donated items include a cash donation of 5 million won and 26 boxes of laundry detergent worth approximately 1.3 million won, which will be provided to elderly people living alone and low-income households in the future.

President Deokgeon Kim stated, "This donation was made possible as members of the 16th class of the Future Political Economy Academy held a charity bazaar and donated part of its proceeds," adding, "We prepared this with the hope that it would provide some help to marginalized groups struggling through the cold winter."

Mayor Jangwoo Lee of Daejeon said, "I am grateful for the warm-hearted actions of the graduates of the Future Political Economy Academy," and added, "We will deliver these heartfelt donations to each household."
