Hosted by the International Festivals & Events Association (IFEA), the Pinnacle Awards Korea is a ceremony that selects outstanding cases among domestic festivals and events. Festival experts from across the country participate as judges, evaluating more than 70 criteria, including program quality, promotion, design, and operations.

Now in its fourth year, the Yeongdeok National Heritage Night Tour is a nighttime cultural experience program centered around the Yeonghae Market Street Modern History and Culture District. It received high praise for the active involvement of local residents, including actors and guides, throughout the event.

Yeongdeok County plans to use this award as an opportunity to expand the program, develop festival models linked to the region, and further advance education and tourism programs based on national heritage starting next year.

Bae Gyeongjo, Director of Culture and Tourism, stated, "The driving force behind this award was the enthusiastic participation of our residents and the full utilization of Yeongdeok's cultural resources. We will do our utmost to further develop this local festival by infusing the unique history and culture of Yeongdeok into the Night Tour."
