This space is the city's first integrated-generation facility, providing a place of rest and memories for seniors and residents, and a space for youth to nurture their dreams. It was built on the site of the former small library. Out of the total project cost of 3.6 billion won, 800 million won was funded by a special grant, and 2.8 billion won was provided by the city. Construction began in December 2024 and was completed in November 2025.
The complex consists of two separate buildings: 'FunGround Sudong' is housed in the first building, while 'Ipseok 3-ri Village Hall' occupies the second.
'FunGround Sudong' is a dedicated youth space with a total floor area of 640 square meters and two stories. The entire facility is designed with a youth-centered approach, allowing young people to participate in activities safely and freely.
Main facilities include: △ a lounge for board games and relaxation; △ a multi-sports area for dance practice and AR sports; and △ a classroom for various activities. In addition, △ a shared kitchen for simple meals and △ popular youth amenities such as a karaoke room and self-photo booth are also provided, drawing attention from visitors.
'Ipseok 3-ri Village Hall' has a total floor area of 115 square meters and serves as a daily gathering space for local seniors and residents. While the previous village hall had a shared space for both men and women, the new facility features separate areas for each, ensuring independence and convenience.
Furthermore, the two buildings are naturally connected by a corridor, allowing the first and third generations to interact and mingle in a shared space.

The opening ceremony was held under the theme of "A Gift Arrives in Sudong-myeon."
The event featured △ a gift box opening ceremony; △ celebratory performances (including the b-boying team Rush Ground, a Sudong-myeon youth vocal performance, and a Donggeurami Daycare Center performance); △ the "Raise the Happiness Gauge of Sudong-myeon!" performance; and △ a facility tour. With participation from various generations, the event provided an opportunity to share the meaning and value of the new space, receiving an enthusiastic response from attendees.
Mayor Joo Gwangdeok stated, "As we have incorporated the opinions of Sudong’s youth multiple times in designing this space, I hope it becomes a place where the dreams of young people and the daily lives of local residents come together. We will continue to listen to and reflect the opinions of both youth and residents to ensure everyone can use the space safely and enjoyably."
