Management Including Guidance on Project Plans, Budgets, and Guidelines
Muju County in North Jeolla Province announced on December 3, 2025, that from next year, the operation of the "Senior Employment and Social Activity Support Project" will be entrusted to Nanum Sesang, a non-profit corporation led by Lim Yongho.
To this end, the county has signed a consignment agreement with Nanum Sesang regarding the administration of the project. The agreement will remain in effect until December 31, 2030, and both parties will cooperate in systematic management and support, including: establishing an operational system, providing guidance on project plans, budgets, and guidelines, forming a working-level consultative body of responsible staff, and strengthening quarterly on-site inspections and project expenditure management.
Going forward, Nanum Sesang will serve as the dedicated institution responsible for implementing Muju County's senior employment and social activity support projects through the Muju Senior Club.
Nanum Sesang, established in 2015 as a non-profit corporation, has operated the Muju Senior Club since 2015. The organization has promoted projects aimed at expanding social participation for seniors in the Muju area, supplementing their income, and supporting a healthy and active later life.
Kim Wansik, Director of the Social Welfare Division of Muju County, stated, "With this agreement, we will be able to promote senior employment and related projects for the elderly in a more professional and systematic manner. We will strive to ensure that the synergy between the county's policies and the expertise of the dedicated institution leads to a healthy and vibrant later life for our local seniors."
