Promoting Initiatives Centered on the General Consultative Body
Jongno District in Seoul (Mayor Jung Moonheon) is establishing a comprehensive cooperation framework with Sungkyunkwan University for the development of the local community. On December 2, Jongno District announced that it had signed a business agreement with Sungkyunkwan University in the mayor's office to promote community development and lay the foundation for future growth.

The goal of this agreement is to create an integrated and strategic cooperation system by connecting all areas of district administration with Sungkyunkwan University's social contribution activities. The two institutions will continue to promote various initiatives in education, culture, and welfare, centered on a general consultative body, and will also establish measures to link district departments with university colleges.
The main tasks include establishing a local humanities and academic foundation through the operation of the 'Jongno Studies Center,' promoting joint projects in education, culture, and welfare, operating talent development programs for youth, women, and seniors, providing legal advice and counseling programs for local residents, carrying out joint projects to address major issues in Jongno District, and running programs that connect student social contribution activities.
Jung Moonheon, Mayor of Jongno District, stated, "We aim to work together with Sungkyunkwan University to foster community development and strengthen the foundation for future growth utilizing digital technology," adding, "I hope this business agreement will serve as a stepping stone for our mutual advancement."
