On December 1, Sutak shared an update through his personal broadcast, saying, "I'm sure many of you were worried, but the surgery went well." He added, "I've been receiving psychological counseling since the incident. Many fans reached out, wanting to help. I was able to endure because I wasn't alone."

On October 26, Sutak went to meet a used car dealer, identified as Mr. A, in the underground parking lot of an apartment in Songdo-dong, Yeonsu-gu, Incheon, and was kidnapped and assaulted by Mr. A and another accomplice. Sutak explained that he had previously purchased a car from Mr. A and later lent him tens of millions of won.

He said, "After I first lent him money, Mr. A failed to repay it even after the due date. About four to five months later, I finally got my money back. I thought it would be best to entrust the sale of the car to a dealer who knew its history, so I contacted him again this year."

Sutak continued, "I asked him to sell my existing car. It was hard to find the vehicle I wanted, and he said a deposit was needed to hold the listing, so I gave him 200 million won. I thought things were progressing smoothly, but around the end of July, Mr. A disappeared." In addition, Sutak began receiving notices of unpaid fines and tolls for the previous vehicle, prompting him to protest to Mr. A and even warn of legal action.

Lured with promise of money... Strangled and assaulted with a baseball bat

Afterward, Mr. A lured Sutak out by saying he would return the money. Sutak met Mr. A in the underground parking lot of his own apartment. Mr. A, sitting in the driver's seat with only the passenger door open, told Sutak, "There's money in the bag. Come inside the car, check it, and sign a settlement agreement."

Sutak said, "The back seat seemed unusually dark, so I looked behind and saw someone lying down, hiding, wearing a hood, mask, and work gloves." He sensed someone in the back seat and immediately called 112 (the emergency number). He added, "When the assailant saw me making the call, he said, 'Hyung, I think you need to come out now.' After about 20 seconds of struggle, the two suddenly started to strangle me."

The attackers strangled Sutak and struck his chest, head, and heart multiple times with a baseball bat when he resisted. Sutak stated, "They genuinely intended to kill me."

The assault continued during the kidnapping and transport. Sutak said, "While we were on the move, they tied my hands with cable ties. They hit me in the face, saying they were angry, and beat me for not answering properly." He added, "Blood got into my ear, so I couldn't hear well, but they kept hitting me, demanding I answer quickly." The assailants also threatened Sutak, demanding money and saying, "If you don't come up with 1 billion won, you will die."

Sutak suffers psychological and physical aftereffects... "I'm receiving counseling"

Sutak underwent surgery for an orbital fracture. He said, "I have double vision, so things appear as two above and below. My eyeball is sunken, and my vision and hearing in my right eye and ear have also deteriorated." He also revealed he is suffering from psychological trauma, saying, "My heart races and I feel scared whenever I step outside my house."

Nevertheless, Sutak said, "If I stay withdrawn, I think I'll become even more depressed. I'll rest only until the end of this week and return to broadcasting next week. Please don't worry about me coming back quickly. I believe this is the right approach for me."

According to the police, Mr. A planned to rob and kill the victim after Sutak demanded the return of his deposit. The investigation revealed that after assaulting Sutak, Mr. A and his accomplice put him in a car and drove to a cemetery parking lot in Geumsan County, South Chungcheong Province, about 200 kilometers from Incheon. The police tracked the vehicle after receiving the report and arrested the suspects in the act about four hours later. Mr. A and his accomplice have been indicted and detained by the police on charges of attempted robbery-murder and joint confinement under the Act on the Aggravated Punishment of Specific Crimes.
