A woman in her 50s who went missing on her way home from work in Cheongju was found dead after 44 days.
According to the police and other sources on November 27, the Chungbuk Provincial Police Agency discovered the body of the missing woman, identified as Ms. A, at a location in Eumseong County, Chungbuk, on the afternoon of the same day. The police obtained a confession regarding the location where the body was abandoned from Kim, a man in his 50s and Ms. A's former partner, who admitted to killing her. The police then searched the site accordingly. The condition of the body has not been disclosed.
The police plan to request an arrest warrant for Kim.
