Hana Bank announced on the 27th that it hosted the 'Global Financial Experience Program', inviting over 100 youths from 36 countries around the world.
The 'Global Financial Experience Program' by Hana Bank is an official course within the '2025 Overseas Youth Korean Language Education Training', which is organized by the Ministry of Education and hosted by the International Korean Language Education Foundation. Hana Bank has participated as a sponsor for seven consecutive years since 2019.
The more than 100 youths who visited Korea this time stayed for five days and four nights at the Hana Financial Group Training Center, 'Hana Global Campus', located in Cheongna, Incheon. During their stay, they engaged in cultural exchange, communication, and built camaraderie with one another.
The participants of this training program are students from middle and high schools in 36 countries across Europe, Asia, Africa, and Central and South America, who are learning Korean as part of their regular curriculum.
Hana Bank prepared a hands-on, field-oriented program to help the students easily understand and learn about K-Finance.
The global youths visited 'Hana Infinity Seoul', the largest dealing room in Korea, located at Hana Bank's Euljiro headquarters in Seoul. There, they observed the intense foreign exchange trading conducted by Hana Bank's dealers, and had a special opportunity to learn about the workflow of professional dealers and the structure of the financial market.
They also toured the Anti-Counterfeit Response Center and the Currency Museum, both located at Hana Financial Group's Myeongdong headquarters. At the Anti-Counterfeit Response Center, students learned about counterfeit detection techniques from the staff, and at the Currency Museum, which displays currencies from 45 countries, they found their own country's currency and introduced the figures depicted on the banknotes in Korean.
In addition, the students visited 'Hana Play Park', Hana Bank's brand experience space in Myeongdong, where they experienced the bank's flagship brand content and gained insight into the global marketing strategies and K-Brand competitiveness of Korean financial companies.
A foreign student from Bulgaria who participated in this program said, "Hana Bank's special hospitality has deepened my interest and affection for Korea. Through learning Korean, I now dream of working for Hana Bank, Korea's leading financial institution, and becoming an employee who leads global finance if I am given the opportunity to work in Korea in the future."
Meanwhile, Hana Bank continues to run various financial education programs to foster the growth of future generations. These include 'Jack's Magic Wallet', the only children's economic education musical in the banking sector for 18 years, the online financial education program for elementary students 'Hana, Dul, Set, Let's Play Finance!', and the 'One Company, One School' outreach financial classroom program for middle and high school students.
