The Hadong Office of the Gwangyang Bay Area Free Economic Zone Authority is conducting investment promotion activities for industrial complexes in the Hadong district across Shanghai, Wuxi, and Ningbo in China through November 28.

This initiative was organized to actively promote the Daesongsan Industrial Complex-centered Hadong district in major cities with strong manufacturing bases and to expand connections with related organizations.

On the 25th, the Hadong Office investment promotion team visited the World-OKTA Shanghai, the Gyeongnam and Jeonnam Shanghai offices, and the Shanghai Korean Chamber of Commerce to understand investment trends in the Chinese manufacturing sector and to introduce the industrial conditions and investment environment of the Hadong district.

On the same day, more than 30 participants-including representatives from local manufacturing companies, related organizations, and media outlets-attended the Hadong district investment attraction briefing session held in the Hongqiao area of Shanghai. The session featured presentations on the infrastructure and support systems of Daesongsan Industrial Complex and Galsasan Industrial Complex, followed by one-on-one consultations with each company. Companies from various sectors such as printing, automotive parts, electronic devices, and skincare participated, expressing interest in the investment potential of the Hadong district.

Following this, the investment promotion team plans to visit companies in cosmetics manufacturing, packaging materials, and eco-friendly energy equipment located in Shanghai, Wuxi, and Ningbo to directly inspect production facilities and discuss potential cooperation tailored to each company's overseas expansion strategy. The Hadong Office intends to continue providing customized support to each company, focusing on the accessibility and logistics strengths of the industrial complexes.

This investment promotion activity is expected to serve as an opportunity to expand the recognition of the Hadong district-especially the Daesongsan Industrial Complex-within the Chinese manufacturing sector. It is significant in that it strengthens networks with the industry by visiting manufacturing-focused cities directly and connects promising investment companies to follow-up consultations.

Hong Seongju, Head of the Hadong Office at the Gwangyang Bay Area Free Economic Zone Authority, stated, "We will focus on providing companies with the information they need quickly on site and resolving practical difficulties from the investment review stage. Through this schedule, we aim to more clearly convey the appeal of the Hadong district and achieve tangible investment results."
