KB Financial Group Holds Second Half 2025 Group Data Innovation Seminar

Yang Jonghee, Chairman of KB Financial Group, urged employees to "view data from the perspective of business and problem-solving, and to create innovations that customers can truly experience with a challenging attitude."
According to KB Financial Group on November 26, Chairman Yang made these remarks at the "Second Half of 2025 Group Data Innovation Seminar" held the previous day at the KB Kookmin Bank New Building in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul.
Since last year, KB Financial Group has been holding the "Group Data Innovation Seminar" every first and second half of the year, aiming to integrate data into actual business operations and customer services, and to use it as a tool for generating tangible results for customers.
On this day, more than 100 employees in the data and AI fields from the holding company and its subsidiaries attended the event, and it was simultaneously broadcast live on YouTube to all employees of the subsidiaries.
KB Financial Group discussed topics such as ▲ ways to utilize data for a deeper understanding of customers ▲ strategies for building data infrastructure that employees can easily use ▲ case studies on data analysis and business applications.
Practical staff from each subsidiary presented vivid ideas and implementation roadmaps derived from utilizing various data, including "building a data-driven customer financial safety net" and "customized card recommendations through consumption pattern analysis." Professor Min Eungki from Seoul National University's Department of Music also delivered a special lecture.
