Securing a Hub in Omotesando, Tokyo
Supporting Overseas Expansion of K-Brands
Sweet Spot announced on November 26 that it has launched its pop-up exclusive space brand, "Stage X," in Tokyo, Japan.
Stage X is a pop-up specialized space brand introduced by Sweet Spot in 2025, currently operating a total of eight locations in Korea, including seven in Seongsu-dong and one in Ikseon-dong. Based on the company’s real estate expert group’s commercial district analysis and proactive site acquisition strategy, the brand has achieved outstanding operational results, such as more than doubling its occupancy rate compared to the previous year.
Building on this operational expertise, Sweet Spot has established its first global hub in Tokyo, aiming to serve as a gateway for domestic and international brands entering the Japanese market. "Stage X Tokyo Mil Gallery" spans approximately 175 square meters and consists of two spaces: "Mil Gallery" and "Mil 2nd."
Stage X is located in Omotesando, Tokyo, an area densely populated with flagship stores of global fashion and lifestyle brands, and a key commercial district with a high floating population of trend-sensitive people in their 20s and 30s. Through Stage X, Sweet Spot plans to strengthen its role as a testbed that enables K-brands to more easily enter the Japanese market and quickly verify initial market responses. Companies can utilize pop-up stores as test markets before actual sales or as marketing hubs to build brand awareness in Japan.
Kim Jeongsu, CEO of Sweet Spot, said, "The entry of Stage X into Tokyo is our first attempt to apply the pop-up operation experience we have accumulated in Korea to an overseas market," adding, "We will continue to expand opportunities for Korean brands to connect directly with overseas consumers."
