The Korea Meteorological Administration reported, citing foreign observation agencies, that at 6:01 p.m. on November 25 (Korea Standard Time), an earthquake with a magnitude of 5.7 occurred 43 kilometers northeast of Kumamoto City, Kumamoto Prefecture, Japan.
The epicenter was located at latitude 33.00 degrees north and longitude 131.10 degrees east, with a depth of 10 kilometers.
