Gwangju Seo-gu Council recently received a plaque of appreciation from the Jangsa-ui Shin Academy Alumni Association, a local small business capacity-building program. Provided by Seo-gu Council.
According to the Seo-gu Council on November 21, the Jangsa-ui Shin Academy Alumni Association is a cooperative organization composed of small business owners who have completed the program. It was voluntarily established to promote ongoing networking and capacity building even after the completion of the training.
The graduates, centered around the alumni association, continue to contribute to the development of the local economy by engaging in various activities such as sharing strategies for revitalizing commercial districts, joint marketing, and exchanging information.
This plaque of appreciation was presented by the graduates to express their gratitude for the Seo-gu Council's consistent interest in and support for the recovery of the local economy and the revitalization of neighborhood commercial areas.
The Seo-gu Council has regarded local small business owners and self-employed individuals as reliable partners and has carried out a variety of legislative activities that provide practical support.
In particular, during the operation of the Jangsa-ui Shin Academy, the council established an institutional foundation for the program to take root stably by revising relevant ordinances and conducting field-oriented legislative activities to revitalize commercial districts.
The graduates who visited the Seo-gu Council to present the plaque said, "The council's thoughtful attention and encouragement have been a great source of strength," and added, "We look forward to continued legislative activities in partnership with local small business owners."
Chairman Jeon Seungil stated, "It is very meaningful to confirm that the various commercial district revitalization policies and support efforts for small businesses pursued by the Seo-gu Council have made a real difference on the ground," and added, "Going forward, the Seo-gu Council will continue to provide field-oriented policy support to create a Seo-gu where residents and the local economy can grow together."
Meanwhile, the Seo-gu Council plans to continue its efforts to restore the local economy by strengthening cooperation with the district administration and communication with small business owners and the self-employed, striving to create a sustainable local commercial ecosystem.
