Stellantis to Adopt Tesla Chargers in Korea Starting 2027

Stellantis announced on November 19 that it will adopt the North American Charging Standard (NACS) in Korea starting in 2027.

The introduction of NACS will begin in North America early next year, and will be implemented in Japan and Korea in 2027. By specific model, the Jeep Wagoneer S and Dodge Charger Daytona electric vehicle models in North America will be able to use Superchargers, and the standard will be applied to new models to be announced in the future, including the 2026 Jeep Recon.

Stellantis will provide further details regarding network access and adapters for Jeep and Dodge electric vehicle customers at a later date. The Jeep Avenger produced in Europe will not be included in this implementation.

A Stellantis representative stated, "We will offer customers a wider range of charging options and improved accessibility, enhancing the convenience of electric vehicle operation," adding, "We plan to continuously implement policies to improve the customer experience across our entire electric vehicle portfolio."
