The Namwon Municipal Gugak Training Center operates a variety of gugak education programs so that citizens can learn and enjoy traditional Korean music up close. It has established itself as an open learning space for citizens who are interested in gugak and wish to learn.

This recital is free to attend and will feature performances such as the gayageum class's folk song medley, Seong Geum-ryeon style, and the original composition "Forest." The pansori class will present "Love Song" from Chunhyangga and southern folk songs, while the dance class will showcase the Sogo dance and Jindo drum dance.

Students of various ages, from beginner to advanced levels, will take the stage to present performances that reflect their hard work. This will provide citizens with an opportunity to experience the charm of gugak more closely.

Mayor Choi Kyungsik said, "It is very meaningful to see citizens in Namwon, the home of gugak, learning and enjoying our traditional music and developing it as a part of everyday culture," adding, "We will continue to provide diverse programs and support through the Namwon Municipal Gugak Training Center so that any citizen can learn and appreciate gugak."
