The Small Library is a social contribution project that Lotte Homeshopping and the Salvation Army Korea Territory have continued for 12 years since 2013. The program creates eco-friendly learning spaces where future generations of children can learn and grow through books. The 100th special exhibition, established at the Developmental Center of Seoul Children's Hospital, involved participation from both Lotte Homeshopping employees and customers, from the selection of the location to the creation of the library. The final site was selected through a staff vote, and more than 1,000 books donated by employees were placed inside the library. In Lotte Homeshopping’s flagship program, "Choi Yura Show," 1,004 won was accumulated per order through a charity broadcast, and the funds were used for the construction of the library.

Inside the library, eco-friendly values were enhanced by installing bookshelves and desks made from fiber panels upcycled from approximately 3 tons of discarded clothing. In particular, specialized spaces were created, including a creative area to help children with developmental disabilities develop their senses and express themselves creatively, as well as a showroom for producing and exhibiting artwork by children with autism and developmental disabilities. The 100th Small Library special exhibition is expected to serve as an open cultural space that offers rest and learning for children who are exhausted from treatment.

Kim Jaegyeom, CEO of Lotte Homeshopping, said, "It is deeply meaningful to open the 100th special exhibition as a result of continuing the Small Library project since 2013. The activities of Seoul Children's Hospital, which supports the artistic talents of children with developmental disabilities, are closely aligned with the purpose of the Small Library project to support the dreams and hopes of future generations." He added, "We will continue the Small Library project under the slogan 'The place where the biggest dreams in the world grow,' and strive to create an environment where future generations of children can learn equally."

Meanwhile, the total accumulated donations for the Small Library project have exceeded 3 billion won, with 200,000 books provided and more than 4.8 million visitors.
