According to the county on November 14, this recruitment aims to provide stable jobs to persons with disabilities, who are considered a vulnerable group in the job market, while also supporting increased social participation and income security.

The employment project for persons with disabilities for next year will allocate a total budget of 1.47 billion won to select 110 participants across four programs, which is an increase of 15 people compared to this year.

The county has secured the largest number of government-supported jobs for persons with disabilities among counties in the province. By supporting "Scent of the Sea," a local vocational rehabilitation facility for persons with disabilities, Buan County is leading the creation of tailored jobs suited to local conditions and the establishment of a sustainable employment base for persons with disabilities.

The types of programs include: ▲General jobs (28 positions), which provide practical skills training for entering the labor market and guarantee a certain period of income; ▲Welfare jobs (participation type, 62 positions), which offer work experience and opportunities for social participation to those with significant employment barriers; ▲Specialized jobs (5 positions), where persons with developmental disabilities are assigned as assistants to care workers to gain job experience; and ▲Jeonbuk-type customized public jobs for persons with severe disabilities (15 positions), which provide public sector employment opportunities.

Eligibility for general jobs requires applicants to be unemployed persons with disabilities registered under the "Act on Welfare of Persons with Disabilities," aged 18 or older, and residing in Buan County, who are capable of performing basic tasks such as administrative support.

Selection will be based on a combined score of priority criteria such as work experience, degree of disability, and income level, along with interview scores evaluating basic job performance and social activity skills. Final selection will be made in order of highest total scores.

After selection, a criminal background check will be conducted in accordance with relevant laws, and participation may be restricted depending on the results.

Additionally, recipients of basic livelihood security should carefully review the application guidelines, as participation in the project may lead to a reduction in income or suspension of benefits.
