International Ceramic Symposium to Be Held at Konjiam Resort on the 24th
Gwangju City in Gyeonggi Province announced on November 14 that it will host the '2025 Gwangju Royal International Ceramic Symposium' at the Konjiam Resort Convention Hall on November 24.

This symposium is organized to shed new light on the history and identity of royal ceramics and to explore sustainable directions for the development of ceramic culture. Domestic and international experts are expected to participate and engage in in-depth discussions.
Marking its second year, the International Ceramic Symposium will bring together ceramic experts from around the world, including the United States, Singapore, T?rkiye, China, Japan, and Taiwan, as well as domestic stakeholders and citizens. Participants will discuss the historical value and brand competitiveness of 'Gwangju Royal Ceramics' from a global perspective and seek ways to enhance the international standing of Gwangju ceramics.
In particular, as this event is held in conjunction with the 'Gwangju Royal Ceramic Festival,' it is expected to widely promote the artistry and excellence of Gwangju Royal Ceramics to the international community and further elevate its cultural status.
A city official stated, "Through the '2025 Gwangju Royal International Ceramic Symposium,' we aim to widely share the historical stories and future vision of the Gwangju royal family with citizens, while expanding the event into an open cultural space where young artists and citizens from Korea and abroad can participate together. We will continue our efforts to ensure that the tradition and dignity of Gwangju Royal Ceramics take center stage in contemporary ceramic culture."
