The "2026 New CR-V Hybrid" is a partial facelift of the sixth-generation model introduced in Korea in 2023, now further enhanced with improved safety and convenience features to boost its market appeal.
The Honda Sensing Blind Spot Information System and Cross Traffic Monitor have been newly added. It boasts best-in-class safety with Honda's proprietary Advanced Compatibility Engineering (ACE) body structure, a rear side airbag, a front knee airbag, and an advanced 10-airbag system.
The interior features a new light gray and black two-tone seat color with orange stitching details, creating a more sophisticated urban SUV atmosphere. The addition of heated side mirrors and second-row heated seats enhances user convenience, while the newly applied tonneau cover improves storage convenience and space utilization when loading cargo.
The powertrain retains the existing 2.0L direct-injection Atkinson engine paired with an E-CVT and the fourth-generation two-motor hybrid system. The motor delivers a maximum output of 184 horsepower and a peak torque of 34 kg·m, while the engine provides a maximum output of 147 horsepower and a peak torque of 18.6 kg·m, supporting the motor for powerful driving performance.
With outstanding packaging technology that maximizes interior and cargo space, the model offers a spacious second-row legroom and a cargo area expandable up to 2,166 liters, ensuring a comfortable and roomy environment for camping, car camping, or family trips with lots of luggage. It is available in two trims, with prices set at 52.8 million won for the 2WD and 55.8 million won for the 4WD (including VAT and reflecting the reduced individual consumption tax).
Lee Jihong, CEO of Honda Korea, stated, "The CR-V is an all-rounder SUV that has run alongside customers for 30 years, built on Honda's technology and trust." He added, "With the new CR-V Hybrid, we hope you will experience the joy and happiness of having a companion for everyday life, wherever and whenever you go."
