Jeongseon County Rallies Support for 2026 CSAT Examinees
Mayor Choi Seungjun Pledges Continued Commitment to Advancing Public Education
On the 13th, Choi Seungjun, Mayor of Jeongseon County, encouraged candidates and parents for the 2026 College Scholastic Ability Test at the main gate of Jeongseon Middle and High School, starting from 7:30 a.m. on the day of the exam.

On this day, Mayor Choi Seungjun, together with Lee Hajun, Superintendent of the Jeongseon Office of Education, Park Deokgyu, Principal of Jeongseon High School, as well as teachers, parents, and current students, delivered messages of support to the test-takers entering the exam site and also offered encouragement to the parents who came to the venue.
Meanwhile, a total of 177 candidates (88 male and 89 female), including both current students and graduates from Jeongseon County, took the 2026 College Scholastic Ability Test. Students from Jeongseon High School, Yeoryang High School, and Imgi High School took the exam at the test center set up at Jeongseon High School. Additionally, students from Hanbaek High School took the test in the Yeongwol area, while those from Gohan High School and Sabuk High School took the test in the Taebaek area.
Mayor Choi Seungjun emphasized the strong support of the local community to help ease the burden on test-takers and pledged that Jeongseon County will continue to provide unwavering support for nurturing local talent and advancing public education.
