The Uljin County Community Social Security Council (Public Chairperson Son Byungbok, Private Chairperson Son Jeongil) successfully held the "2025 Uljin County Welfare Expo" at Yeonho Park in Uljin on November 8.

More than 800 participants, including social welfare facilities and organizations, related institutions, and local residents, attended the expo. Under the slogan "Welfare ON, Happiness ON. Lighting Up Uljin Today!", the event served as a platform for communication to ignite the light of welfare and share happiness among county residents.

Thirty-five social welfare facilities, institutions, and organizations participated in the event, which featured a commemorative ceremony, an awards ceremony for outstanding contributors to welfare, a flash mob performance, and cultural performances. These diverse programs provided both joy and inspiration to the attendees.

Additionally, various side events such as welfare counseling and experience booths, programs for children and youth, and booths run by talent-sharing volunteer groups were held on-site, receiving enthusiastic responses from the community.

Son Jeongil, Co-Chairperson representing the private sector, expressed gratitude to everyone who contributed to the expo, stating, "I would like to thank everyone who joined us in making this event possible. Moving forward, the council will continue to play a central role in connecting diverse welfare resources and do our utmost to create a happier Uljin for all residents."
