The main venue, Peace Plaza at the War Memorial of Korea, will be used with the cooperation of the War Memorial Service Association. The plaza will feature a variety of performances and experiential programs, as well as food trucks, and will be open to both domestic and international tourists, as well as local residents. Pre-registration for the walking program was accepted until November 2, and on-site registration will also be available on the day of the event.

Detailed programs include eco-friendly experiences such as making envelope planters, eco-friendly soap, and bookmarks; health programs such as pull-up challenges, yoga, Korean medicine, and CPR; and play-based activities such as one-minute portraits and face painting.

The stage will feature performances such as popera and musical gala shows. In particular, singers Lyn and KCM will perform, adding a touch of romance to the autumn evening. Food trucks will offer beverages and desserts, providing visitors with a wide variety of treats to enjoy.

Participants in the walking event will walk along a 5.5-kilometer route through the Itaewon Special Tourist Zone, passing landmarks such as the War Memorial of Korea, Noksapyeong Station, Itaewon Station, and Hangangjin Station, and enjoy hands-on activities along the way. The district expects a large turnout and has strengthened safety measures by deploying an emergency medical booth and an ambulance. Visitors are encouraged to review safety guidelines in advance and use public transportation.

The event will also be linked with the Seoul Urban Tourism Council (Yongsan, Jongno, Jung, Seongbuk, Seodaemun, and Mapo Districts). Each district will set up a tourism promotion booth at the venue to introduce their representative attractions and engage directly with visitors.

Park Heeyoung, Mayor of Yongsan District, stated, “Dureundureun Yongsan is a Yongsan-style integrated festival that encompasses walking, culture, and environmental protection. I hope many residents and tourists will join us to share the values of a healthy life and a sustainable environment.” She added, “The War Memorial of Korea, a representative tourist attraction in Yongsan, will continue to convey the importance of peace and security to many people, and our district will actively cooperate with the War Memorial Service Association,” expressing her gratitude to the association.
