This training program, aimed at revitalizing the local commercial district and strengthening the competitiveness of the food service industry, is part of Gyeonggi Province's 'Commercial District-Friendly City Development Project.'

The city stated that the recruitment targets are current food service workers and prospective entrepreneurs within the city, with around 30 participants to be selected. The program will run for approximately four months, from December this year to March next year.

This course goes beyond simple technical training, covering all aspects of food service management, including menu development, food service trend analysis, customer service improvement strategies, practical branding and marketing, hygiene and safety management, and the establishment of customized management strategies for each commercial district.

The city plans to collaborate with professional educational institutions to connect program graduates with small business support projects and provide on-site consulting to help increase sales and establish a sustainable foundation for entrepreneurship.

Those interested in participating can apply at the Gwangmyeong City Self-Employed Support Center. For more details, inquiries can be made to the Small Business Support Team at the Gwangmyeong City Job and Economy Division.

Park Seungwon, Mayor of Gwangmyeong, said, "Through this program, we will actively support the emergence of outstanding local food service leaders and the city's development into a competitive, commercial district-friendly city."
