Jongno District in Seoul (Mayor Jung Moonheon) will be holding the “Jongno Alleyway Cleaning Neighborhood Meeting with Residents” by visiting all 17 neighborhoods in the district through December 12.
The cleaning neighborhood meeting is a participatory event where residents directly determine the cleaning areas and discuss local issues together. Its goal is to strengthen community spirit and improve the neighborhood environment. In narrow alleys and residential areas where large vehicles cannot enter, eco-friendly small cleaning vehicles are deployed to create a clean and safe living environment.

Jung Moonheon, Mayor of Jongno District, stated, “I hope that through the cleaning neighborhood meetings, a culture will take root in which residents directly improve their neighborhood environment, strengthen their sense of community, and solve local issues.”
