Donghae Engineering & Consultants and CMT Information & Communication Join the Project
Strengthening Public-Private Cooperation for Smart City Realization
On November 4, Ansan City in Gyeonggi Province held a 'Small and Strong Smart City Development Project Partner Agreement Ceremony' with Donghae Engineering & Consultants Co., Ltd. and CMT Information & Communication Co., Ltd. in the Smart City Division meeting room. This agreement is a follow-up procedure after Ansan City was selected as a project site for the related initiative led by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport in June.

Through this agreement, each organization will cooperate in discovering and validating smart city services, solving urban issues based on data, applying technology to areas closely related to citizens' daily lives such as transportation, environment, and safety, and expanding the dissemination of achievements and citizen participation.
Under the agreement, Donghae Engineering & Consultants Co., Ltd. will enhance its expertise in the construction of urban infrastructure and smart infrastructure, while CMT Information & Communication Co., Ltd. will improve the technological completeness of the project by leveraging its capabilities in communication, Internet of Things (IoT), and data technologies.
The city plans to realize a 'people-centered, lifestyle-oriented smart city' through this project and to establish a sustainable smart city ecosystem.
Lee Minguen, Mayor of Ansan, stated, "This agreement is an important first step for Ansan to become a smart city that citizens can truly experience," adding, "Together with our partner organizations, we will discover innovative urban services and create tangible results."
