Viva Republica, the operator of Toss, announced on November 5 that it has released an "Advertising Performance Measurement Report" through its in-house advertising service, Toss Ads.
The report offers a new interpretation of advertising performance, starting from the question, "Are we truly evaluating advertising performance correctly?"
It suggests a perspective that goes beyond simple metrics such as click counts or conversions, focusing on how advertising drives changes in sales and customer behavior.
The report presents topics such as the effect of online advertising on offline sales, methods for measuring the value of customers acquired through advertisements, and analytical approaches for industries where performance measurement has traditionally been difficult.
Through this analysis, Toss specifically demonstrates how marketing activities translate into sales.
Based on its extensive payment and financial data, the company measures the "incremental performance" generated by advertising in terms of sales.
The report can be downloaded from the Toss Ads website. Toss plans to regularly publish the report to help marketers and advertisers develop better strategies based on data.
A Toss representative stated, "This report sets out a new standard for measuring advertising performance from Toss's perspective," adding, "We hope this will encourage the marketing industry to evaluate campaign performance using more realistic indicators and data."
