Korea Public Golf Course Association Signs Business Agreement with Japan Golf Course Operators Association

Sharing Golf Course Industry Information and Sustainable Development
Joint Hosting of Seminars, Forums, and Meetings for Exchange

The Korea Public Golf Course Association has signed a business agreement with the Japan Golf Course Operators Association.


Recently, the two organizations agreed to join forces for the continued development of the golf course industry in both countries. Their cooperation will include the exchange of information and knowledge regarding the golf course industry and management in Korea and Japan, as well as the joint hosting of seminars, forums, and meetings to promote mutual exchange.

Woo Jungseok, President of the Korea Public Golf Course Association, stated, "With this agreement, both associations will be able to broadly share their experiences in golf course operations and management information, and expand the scope of exchange, thereby contributing to the advancement of the golf course industry in both countries." The Japan Golf Course Operators Association was established in 1969. It carries out various activities aimed at the sound development of golf course management companies and the promotion of golf, and currently has 244 member golf courses.


Hiroshi Tezuka, Chairman of the Japan Golf Course Operators Association, said, "This is the first step toward the development of the golf course industry in both countries. I expect that mutual exchange and cooperation will lay the foundation for significant growth in the golf course industry in Korea and Japan. I hope this will mark the beginning of a partnership that looks toward a sustainable future, and provide new opportunities for golf course operators, golfers, and the younger generation who will lead the next era in both countries."
