Dong-A University Selects Recipients of the 'Proud Dong-A Alumni Award' for Its 79th Anniversary

Dong-A University (President Lee Haewoo) announced on the 29th that, in celebration of its 79th anniversary, it has selected Secheol Park, Chairman of Oriental Precision Co., Ltd., and Hideok Park, Vice Chairman of Pharmgen Science Co., Ltd., as recipients of the 'Proud Dong-A Alumni Award.'

The awards ceremony will take place during the university's anniversary celebration, which will be held at 11 a.m. on the 31st at Daw Hall, Bumin Campus, Dong-A University.

Chairman Secheol Park graduated from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Dong-A University in 1987. He joined Oriental Precision Co., Ltd. in 1989 and held positions including Head of the Busan Plant, Head of the Overseas Business Division, Head of the Administration Division, Director of Planning and Coordination, and Vice President, before being appointed CEO in 2014 and Chairman in 2021.

Oriental Precision Co., Ltd. is a company specializing in shipbuilding and marine equipment, established in 1980, and currently holds the top market share for ship cranes in Korea. The company is currently constructing the first in-house research and development (R&D) center in the domestic shipbuilding equipment industry at Busan Eco Delta City.

Vice Chairman Hideok Park graduated from the Department of Applied Statistics at Dong-A University in 1993. He joined Pharmgen Science Co., Ltd. in 2013, where he served as Head of the Special Business Division, Head of the Production Division, Head of the Management Support Division, and CEO, before being appointed Vice Chairman in 2023.

He has achieved outstanding results through strategic decision-making and bold business expansion in a rapidly changing business environment, leading Pharmgen Science Co., Ltd. to become the fastest-growing mid-sized pharmaceutical company. He has also been recognized for his significant contributions to public health and the development of the pharmaceutical industry.
