Industry's First Customized Benefits for Expectant Mothers and Children
IBK Industrial Bank announced on the 29th that it launched the "I-Bom" platform last month, which provides financial and lifestyle services needed for children's growth stages, from pregnancy and childbirth to adolescence.
I-Bom is a service that offers financial, lifestyle, and health information tailored to each stage of a child's development, from pregnancy until the child reaches adolescence.
Customers can access and enjoy all services related to childbirth and parenting through I-Bom. It is available to any parent who is expecting a child or has underage children.
The bank explained that the platform was commercialized based on ideas proposed by its internal learning organization. It was developed in collaboration with the Ministry of the Interior and Safety.
It is the first in the industry to simultaneously provide customized benefits for expectant mothers and government benefits related to children.
The platform features an alert function that automatically notifies users of scheduled events and benefits, enhancing user convenience.
I-Bom consists of a "Financial Lounge" that helps manage children's assets, a "Childbirth Non-Financial Lounge" offering AI-based naming services and maternity notebooks, and a "Parenting Non-Financial Lounge" providing benefits such as infant and toddler health checkups.
The service can be accessed through the personal mobile banking app (i-ONE Bank for Individuals).
An IBK Industrial Bank official stated, "I-Bom is a platform that provides information needed throughout the stages of a child's growth, starting from pregnancy," and added, "We plan to continue expanding services and benefits that offer practical support to our customers' families."
