Gyeonggi-do Economic Science Promotion Agency Holds 'Investment Environment Briefing' for Overseas Investors in Pangyo on the 29th

The Gyeonggi-do Economic Science Promotion Agency invited overseas investors who visited Korea for the 'Invest KOREA Summit' on the 29th to Pangyo Techno Valley, where it held a briefing session on the local investment environment.

The Invest KOREA Summit is a nationwide investment promotion event held from October 29 to 31 at the Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas. This year, the event attracted over 2,000 participants, including 220 investment firms, 800 foreign-invested companies, and 20 international media outlets.

The agency invited 16 overseas investors and international media representatives from the visiting delegation to Pangyo Techno Valley, the hub of Korea's advanced industries such as information technology, gaming, and biotechnology, and a global startup mecca. There, it held an investment briefing session (IR) to actively promote Pangyo's excellence as an innovation-driven growth ecosystem and a global expansion hub.

The investors consisted of advanced technology companies and venture capital firms with investment experience in North America, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.

They stated that their visit to Pangyo Techno Valley was a valuable opportunity to deepen their understanding of Korea's innovation clusters and that directly witnessing Gyeonggi-do's startup support system would be highly beneficial for their future investment decisions.

'INVEST Gyeonggi' is a program that identifies promising companies in the province for investment attraction, connects them with domestic and international investors, and supports IR activities, thereby contributing to attracting foreign capital and supporting global growth for local businesses.

Kim Hyungon, President of the Gyeonggi-do Economic Science Promotion Agency, said, "Gyeonggi-do and the Gyeonggi-do Economic Science Promotion Agency are creating a dynamic industrial environment where innovative companies can grow and global investment is actively taking place. We will continue to develop into a global business hub trusted and chosen by investors worldwide through outstanding corporate infrastructure and systematic support."
