The Yangju City Veterans Organizations Council (Chairman Lee Ilbong) held the 15th anniversary ceremony of its founding at the Gyeonggi Textile Comprehensive Support Center Convention Hall on the 28th.

The Yangju City Veterans Organizations Council was established on October 28, 2010, and has since worked to promote veterans' affairs and spread veterans' culture through collaboration and cooperation among veterans' organizations.
On this day, the ceremony was attended by Yang Soo-hyun, Mayor of Yangju City, as well as the heads of veterans' organizations in Yangju and more than 300 members, making the event a meaningful occasion.
Chairman Lee Ilbong stated, "We will fulfill our role as a veterans' organization dedicated to the development of the nation and Yangju City," and added, "I would like to thank everyone who has shown interest in and support for veterans' families."
Mayor Yang Soo-hyun remarked, "The Yangju City Veterans Organizations Council has played a significant role in enhancing the rights of veterans' families and in the development of the local community," and pledged, "Yangju City will also do its utmost to honor and support those eligible for national veterans' benefits."
