On October 28, Wemade announced the launch of the global version of its massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) 'Legend of YMIR' in 170 countries worldwide, excluding Korea and China.
The global version of 'Legend of YMIR' depicts an epic saga of warriors fighting to restore destiny and order in a world plunged into chaos after the fall of the gods. Players can experience a variety of content on both mobile and PC platforms, including large-scale 'Server Wars' where representatives from each server face off on a single stage, and 'Partners Server,' which allows users to manage and grow their own servers and communities. The global tournament 'YMIR Cup' will also be held to determine the world's strongest server.
This version has also established an easy and intuitive tokenomics system centered on the core currency 'gWEMIX.' Players can acquire gWEMIX through in-game content, and it can be exchanged one-to-one with Wemix Coin. Clans victorious in Server Wars will receive a portion of the gWEMIX issued across all servers within the inter-server system as a tax distribution.
To celebrate the launch, Wemade will hold an airdrop event on its blockchain gaming platform 'Wemix Play.' All members will receive a non-fungible token (NFT) of in-game items.
