An Emotional Music Festival with Citizens Amidst the Autumn Scenery

Namyangju City in Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Joo Kwangdeok) announced on the 27th that the 2025 Village Concert 'Bukhangang Music Festival', held at the Bukhangang Outdoor Performance Hall in Hwado-eup on the 26th, concluded with an enthusiastic response from citizens.

This concert was organized to provide citizens with the opportunity to experience high-quality culture and arts. Set against the beautiful backdrop of the Bukhangang River and the autumn scenery, it deeply moved the audience.


The main stage featured singer John Park, known for his sweet vocals, and emotional pop artist Cheeze (CHEEZE). Talented musicians such as Kim Bori and the Lee Byeonghyeon Band also performed, receiving great applause and enthusiastic responses from the audience, further enhancing the romantic atmosphere of autumn.


Citizens who attended the concert expressed high satisfaction, saying, "The beautiful scenery of the Bukhangang River combined with the music created unforgettable memories," and "It was wonderful to enjoy a high-quality performance without having to travel far."


A city official stated, "The Village Concert program was created to allow citizens to enjoy culture and the arts up close. We are pleased that the first concert was held successfully," adding, "We hope for continued interest and participation in upcoming performances."


Meanwhile, the Village Concert series will continue with a Disney OST concert at Jinjeop Pureun Forest Library at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 1, and a talk concert by music director Kim Moonjeong commemorating the 80th anniversary of Liberation at Dasan Hall, Namyangju City Hall Main Building 1, at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 15.
