Uijeongbu City Hosts 'Work-Life Balance Movie Day'
Promoting a Healthy Workplace Culture for Workers and Businesses
Uijeongbu City in Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Kim Donggeun) announced on the 23rd that it successfully held the 'Worker Work-Life Balance Movie Day' event at CGV Shinsegae Department Store Uijeongbu Branch on the 22nd.

This event, hosted by the Uijeongbu Chamber of Commerce and Industry and sponsored by the city, was part of the 'Uijeongbu City Business Capacity Building Support Project.' It was organized to promote a culture of work-life balance throughout the local community and to provide an opportunity for workers and business owners to communicate and relax together.
Following the first session in June, which featured a lecture on 'AI Trends and Utilization Methods,' this second session included: a campaign to promote work-life balance culture, publicity for business support policies and the 'Business Support Informer,' and a cultural welfare program for workers (screening of a newly released film).
More than 350 people, including local business owners and workers, attended the event, filling two screening rooms. Participants enjoyed a promotional video on work-life balance culture and watched a new movie, providing them with a time of empathy and relaxation.
The city plans to continue actively pursuing various policies aimed at improving the quality of life for workers and creating a sustainable business ecosystem.
Mayor Kim Donggeun stated, "Today's event was a meaningful occasion to reflect together on the value and significance of work-life balance," and added, "Uijeongbu City will continue to make efforts to spread a healthy workplace culture where workers and businesses grow together."
