The Lifelong Education Center at Sahmyook University announced on the 24th that it has been selected as an operating university for the '2025 Neulbom School University-Linked Program' organized by the Guri-Namyangju Office of Education in Gyeonggi Province.

The Neulbom School University-Linked Program is a regional cooperative educational initiative that supports future career exploration and competency development for elementary school students residing in Guri and Namyangju, utilizing the university's expertise and educational infrastructure.
Through this project, Sahmyook University will offer 12 specialized programs in 9 areas for local elementary school students: reading, character education, arts, physical education, ecology, artificial intelligence (AI), convergent science, glocal studies, and career exploration.
Key programs include 'Literacy Skills: My Book Journey,' 'Discovering My Hidden Talents (Musical),' 'Basketball Class for Growth,' 'Earth Survival Project (Energy Experiment Lab),' 'Surviving in the AI Era,' and 'Everyday English with Native Speakers.'
The programs are conducted as intensive weekend courses, held once a week for three hours over a seven-week period until next month. All classes are taught directly by full-time faculty members of Sahmyook University and experts in each field.
Jung Hyuncheol, Director of the Lifelong Education Center at Sahmyook University, stated, "Through this project, I hope that local elementary school students will be able to explore their aptitudes and career paths based on diverse experiences, and develop the core competencies needed for the future society."
