The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism announced on the 21st that it had completed the restoration of its main website system and has been operating it normally since the 20th.
The main website of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism had been out of service since the fire at the National Information Resources Service (NIRS) on the 26th of last month.
After the fire, the ministry operated a temporary main website from the 30th of last month, providing information and civil complaint services to minimize public inconvenience. At the same time, it worked together with the National Information Resources Service to restore the system and recover data.
The ministry stated that some linked services provided by other government agencies, such as the e-People petition system and legal resources, are still restricted due to incomplete recovery. The ministry added that it will continue to monitor the recovery process and promptly inform the public when these linked services become available.
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has completed the restoration of 28 out of 35 affected systems (an 80% recovery rate) and pledged to make every effort to restore the remaining 7 systems as quickly as possible in cooperation with relevant organizations such as the National Information Resources Service and the Ministry of the Interior and Safety.
