A Platform for Hanwoo Breed Improvement and Livestock Farmer Exchange
Yeongju City in North Gyeongsang Province hosted the '2025 Gyeongbuk Hanwoo Competition' on October 21 at the Munjeong riverside area.
This event was co-hosted by North Gyeongsang Province and Yeongju City, and organized by the North Gyeongsang Province branch of the National Hanwoo Association and the North Gyeongsang Headquarters of Nonghyup Agribusiness Group.
The competition aimed to select outstanding Hanwoo cattle to promote breed improvement, as well as to foster unity and technical exchange among livestock farmers.

The event also featured a variety of side programs, including an exhibition of livestock equipment, performances by invited singers, and a livestock community unity event, which contributed to the festive atmosphere.
