On that day, a professional instructor was invited to discuss various real-life cases that occurred in public institutions and local councils. The session addressed ways to improve gender-biased perceptions in speech and behavior and strategies to establish a healthy communication culture within the organization.
In particular, the training included practical measures to help participants identify and prevent expressions of sexual harassment or discriminatory attitudes that may be overlooked in everyday life, aiming to foster a prevention-oriented organizational culture.
Chairman Jeon Seungil stated, "I hope this training serves as an opportunity for all council members and staff to reaffirm their awareness of gender equality and correct values. The Seo-gu Council will continue to promote a culture of violence prevention and respect for human rights through ongoing training and institutional efforts."
The Seo-gu Council plans to expand regular violence prevention education and human rights training programs, striving to create a safe and trustworthy council environment free from discrimination and violence.
