Actress Clara (40, real name Lee Sungmin) has divorced after six years of marriage.
On the 17th, her agency KHS Agency announced, "Clara completed the mutual divorce process this past August," adding, "After a long period of careful discussion with her spouse, she reached this decision."
The agency further explained, "We delayed sharing the news because it was necessary to deeply consider both families' positions and seek mutual understanding."
Through her agency, Clara stated, "I am sorry to deliver such unfortunate news to the many people who have supported me."
She married a Korean-American businessman two years her senior in 2019, and the couple has no children.
Clara, the daughter of Lee Seungkyu from the co-ed group Koreana, debuted as a commercial model in 2004 and appeared in the 2006 drama "Invisible Man Choi Jangsoo" and the sitcom "High Kick!" Since 2016, she has mainly been active in China.
