To commemorate the 31st anniversary of the creation of Lake Sihwa, Siheung City will host the '2025 Gyeonggi International Boat Show Siheung Geobukseom Marina Marine Exhibition' for three days from the 17th to the 19th.
This exhibition is a major event of the 'Gyeonggi International Boat Show,' a marine leisure industry expo. Various domestic marine leisure companies will participate, exhibiting and promoting a wide range of boats, while also offering on-site sales and test ride experiences.
During the event, boats will be displayed at the land mooring area of Geobukseom Marina. For prospective buyers, there will be opportunities for sea test rides and boat trailing experiences. As a supplementary event, a 'Yacht & Boat Onboard Tour' will also be held, allowing participants to tour the Geobukseom area.
The 'Yacht & Boat Onboard Tour' will operate from the 18th to the 19th. Advance registration has closed, but on-site applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis starting at 11 a.m. on the day of the event. Only those using businesses within Geobukseom-such as restaurants, cafes, or hotels-are eligible to apply, and each participant must present a receipt of at least 10,000 won per person.
Further details can be found through the integrated reservation portal on the Siheung City website.
Siheung City Mayor Lim Byeongtaek stated, "I hope this will be an opportunity to directly see and experience the future of the marine leisure industry at Geobukseom Lake Sihwa, an emerging hub for marine leisure. We will continue to do our best to strengthen our status as a marine city and to foster the development of the marine leisure industry."
