The Indonesian Teacher Invitation Training Program is part of the Digital Education Support Project for Exchange Cooperation Countries (KLIC: Korea Digital Learning Improvement Cooperation), jointly promoted by the Ministry of Education and the Gangwon Provincial Office of Education. The program is being held over eight days, from October 14 to 21.
This training serves as a follow-up cooperation program to the on-site training conducted for 30 local teachers during the Gangwon Provincial Office of Education delegation's visit to Indonesia in August. It has been organized as a platform for exchange to foster cooperation and mutual development in digital education between the two countries.
A total of 30 participants, including 5 officials from the Indonesian Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology and 25 teachers, are taking part in the invitation training. Through activities such as attending presentations on the use of artificial intelligence (AI) platforms and edtech case studies, as well as training on support systems for building digital education infrastructure, the program aims to strengthen the digital education capabilities of Indonesian teachers and promote friendly relations between the two countries.
Park Sungkwan, Director of Future Education, stated, "The Indonesian Teacher Invitation Training Program is an exemplary case of international educational exchange and cooperation promoted through the Digital Education Support Project for Exchange Cooperation Countries (KLIC), and it will serve as an opportunity for both countries to grow together." He added, "We will continue to expand educational cooperation models that meet the demands of the global era by strengthening ties with exchange cooperation countries."
