In Celebration of White Cane Safety Day
Donation of Green Finger Skincare Products Also Made
Yuhan-Kimberly announced on the 16th that it has donated 8,400 pads of "Good Feel La Nature" sanitary pads, which feature braille packaging, to the Korea Blind Union.
At the White Cane Safety Day event held on the 15th, representatives from 15 companies including Yuhan-Kimberly (third from the left), the Korea Consumer Agency, and the Korea Blind Union are taking a commemorative photo.
This donation was carried out in collaboration with organizations such as the Korea Consumer Agency to support the visually impaired in recognition of White Cane Safety Day (October 15). Yuhan-Kimberly has been working with the Korea Consumer Agency for three consecutive years to promote the distribution of products friendly to the visually impaired. This year, the company also donated "Green Finger" skincare products with braille tags for easier use.
Yuhan-Kimberly has been supplying Good Feel La Nature sanitary pads so that visually impaired individuals can access product information on an equal footing with those without disabilities. The La Nature sanitary pads are packaged with braille to facilitate this. In addition, to address period poverty, the company has been running the "Cheer Up, Daughters" campaign for ten years, donating more than 12 million sanitary pads in total. It also developed "First Hygiene Panties" for women with developmental disabilities and others who need repeated practice attaching sanitary pads.
Through Korea's first menstruation-focused blog "Woosaengjung" and the women's wellness care platform "Daldabang" application, Yuhan-Kimberly has been sharing professional menstrual information from menarche to menopause and providing opportunities to try various women's products.
Jeon Yangsook, Head of the Sustainability Management Center, stated, "As Korea's leading household goods company, we will continue to maintain global competitiveness while striving to contribute to improving the quality of life for the people and the global environment."
