Featuring Min Younguk, Lee Aram, JSM Musical Ensemble, and More
Buan County in North Jeolla Province will host a performance of "Musical Backpacking" at the Buan Arts Center at 7:30 p.m. on October 27.
According to county officials on October 15, this performance is a collaborative event between Sori Culture Creative Studio Shin and the Klenamu Philharmonic Orchestra. The grand orchestral performance, combined with appearances by some of Korea’s top musical actors and vocalists, is expected to offer audiences a high-quality performing arts experience.
This stage will feature musical actor and vocalist Min Younguk, Lee Aram, Lee Sangheun, Kim Areum, Park Dongil, Kim Seoyu, and the JSM Musical Ensemble. Each will showcase their unique vocal talents and acting skills, presenting a variety of beloved musical numbers. The powerful live performance by the Klenamu Philharmonic Orchestra will further enrich the stage.
As suggested by the title "Musical Backpacking," the performance is designed for the audience to enjoy a journey through masterpieces of musicals from around the world. Iconic songs from globally beloved musicals such as "The Phantom of the Opera" and "Cats" will be performed on stage.
A county official stated, "The moving songs of the musical, combined with the rich melodies of the orchestra, will offer audiences an experience akin to traveling the world. We hope many people will join us to share in the joy and inspiration that art brings."
This performance, organized by Buan County, the Klenamu Philharmonic Orchestra, and Sori Culture Creative Studio Shin and hosted by the Jeollabuk-do Cultural Tourism Foundation, will be free of charge for all seats.
