On October 10, at the 88 Country Club (par 72, 6,748 yards) in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province, during the first round of the newly launched KLPGA Tour event, the K-Food Nolbu·Hwami Masters (total prize money of 1.2 billion won), she recorded five birdies and one bogey. With a score of 4-under-par 68, she took the joint lead alongside Hyunjo Yoo, Jungmin Hong, Seoyeon Kwon, and Gyolim Seo.

Ye-won Lee had a blazing start to the season. She swept up three wins at the Doosan Construction We’ve Championship in April, the NH Investment & Securities Ladies Championship in May, and the Doosan Match Play. Since then, she has not added another trophy for about five months. She is tied for first in most wins, ranks fifth in prize money (953.46 million won) and Player of the Year points (408 points), and eighth in scoring average (70.49 strokes).
Amateurs Yoonseo Yang, Yerim Choi, and Yoolin Lee are trailing by just one stroke, tied for sixth place at 3-under-par 69. Yujin Sung is tied for ninth at 2-under-par 70, Minsol Kim is tied for seventeenth at 1-under-par 71, and Hyunkyung Park and Dayeon Lee are tied for twenty-sixth at even-par 72. Prize money leader Seunghee Noh (1.27554 billion won) has also joined the group tied for twenty-sixth.
