Through this partnership, Nexth will serve as a DMCC game ecosystem cooperation partner and will promote initiatives such as onboarding and operating acceleration programs for game studios, providing funding and connecting global investment networks for Web3 and artificial intelligence (AI) startups, attracting global partners including those in Asia, and co-hosting events such as hackathons and seminars.

In response, DMCC will grant Nexth the status of a game ecosystem cooperation partner and engage in joint marketing, support networking with government agencies, investors, exchanges, and incubators, provide publishing and market entry guidance for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, and offer facilities and infrastructure, including office space in Uptown Tower, a landmark building of Dubai DMCC.

Notably, Nexth established a local corporation in Dubai in April, accelerating its efforts to target global markets such as the Middle East and Europe. DMCC is one of the world's largest free trade zones, housing over 24,000 companies, and serves as a key institution for positioning Dubai as a global trade and investment hub.

Jang Hyunguk, CEO of Nexth, stated, "With this partnership, we will expand our cooperation and make Dubai a central hub for the global blockchain and gaming ecosystem."

He added, "Dubai is similar to what the Cross ecosystem (a blockchain-based game platform) aims for, in that it builds structured, systematic, and scalable market demand. Through this collaboration, we aim to create a virtuous cycle in which startups, game studios, and global partners grow together."

Ahmed Hamza, Executive Director of DMCC Free Zone, said, "We will provide a platform that offers Korean companies immediate business opportunities and long-term value." He added, "This collaboration is an important step for DMCC to establish itself as an optimal hub where next-generation global technology companies can lead new forms of innovation and growth in Dubai."

Meanwhile, DMCC is home to more than 140 global gaming companies, as well as over 650 blockchain companies, including the global virtual asset exchange Bybit, blockchain media outlet Cointelegraph, and Solana Foundation.
