The Damyang County Youth Counseling and Welfare Center (Director: Son Euna) announced on October 5 that it has signed a business agreement with the Damyang Branch of the Korea Expressway Corporation Gwangju Jeonnam Headquarters (Branch Manager: Park Jooyoung) to promote customized support projects for at-risk and vulnerable youth in the region.

This project is part of community contribution activities, aiming to support at-risk youth by providing Onnuri gift certificates worth a total of 1 million won and assistance for improving residential environments, thereby helping them achieve stability in their daily lives and continue their studies.

The beneficiaries will be selected through youth safety net case meetings, and customized support will be provided based on individual needs. In addition, the project’s effectiveness will be systematically reviewed through post-support monitoring and performance evaluations.

Director Son Euna stated, "I hope that youth facing economic and emotional difficulties will be able to continue their studies and pursue their dreams through this support, growing up with the warm care of the local community. We will continue to strengthen the protection system for at-risk youth in cooperation with the Korea Expressway Corporation and the local community."

Meanwhile, the Damyang County Youth Counseling and Welfare Center and the Out-of-School Youth Support Center are operated by the Damyang County Welfare Foundation. They provide a variety of customized services for youth aged 9 to 24, including psychological and emotional counseling, group programs, parent education, and support for out-of-school youth.
