JYP Entertainment announced on October 3 that Stray Kids member Bangchan donated 100 million won each to Samsung Medical Center and the Korean Committee for UNICEF, for a total of 200 million won, in celebration of his birthday.

Through his agency, Bangchan said, "Thanks to the love from fans on my birthday, I was able to share warmth," adding, "I hope this can provide some support for children to dream brighter dreams and envision a better tomorrow."

Samsung Medical Center plans to use the donation to support medical expenses for pediatric and adolescent patients. UNICEF will prioritize the funds for its core projects, including providing clean water, education, and emergency relief for children in vulnerable regions around the world.

With this donation, Bangchan has also been appointed as a member of the 'UNICEF Honors Club,' a group of major donors to UNICEF. Last year, he also donated 100 million won to the Community Chest of Korea, joining the 'Honor Society' for major donors.

Meanwhile, Stray Kids will hold an encore concert for their world tour at Incheon Asiad Main Stadium on October 18 and 19.
