Osan City: "No Need to Worry About Emergency Care During Chuseok Holiday"

During the holiday, the emergency rooms at Osan Korea Hospital and Joeun Osan Hospital will operate 24 hours a day. Moonlight Children's Hospitals, such as Seoul Children's Hospital and Wellbom Hospital, which serve pediatric patients, will also provide care without any days off from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

To meet general medical needs, the city will designate and operate "open medical institutions and pharmacies." The Osan City Public Health Center will run an emergency medical response situation room throughout the holiday period, monitor the operation status of designated medical institutions and pharmacies, and strengthen guidance and supervision to ensure the smooth treatment of emergency patients.

Information on medical institutions and pharmacies available during the Chuseok holiday can be found on the Osan City and Public Health Center websites, the Central Emergency Medical Center website (www.e-gen.or.kr), the Emergency Medical Information and Emergency Toktok apps, the Ministry of Health and Welfare call center (129), the Gyeonggi Province call center (120), and the 119 Emergency Situation Management Center.

Lee Gwonjae, Mayor of Osan, stated, "We will focus all our medical resources to ensure that no one faces difficulties due to sudden health issues during the holiday."
